Comedian Jason Manford returns to Ipswich next year with new tour Muddle Class.
It deals with his confusion about growing up working class, then finding as he’s got older part of him has become middle class.
“Somebody said to me on my Facebook fan page ‘it’s been ages since you’ve toured’. I thought no way, it was last year wasn’t it? Anyway, long story short, they were right, it was years ago. I just got fooled because I’ve been on tour doing musicals and the last tour is repeated on Dave ja Vu 13 times a day,” said Jason.
“So I’ve been putting some stuff together, looking at my life and how it’s changed over the years, how the world has changed and how my parents haven’t changed a bit. It’s going to be a great tour and I can’t wait to see you there.”
He’s at the Regent, Ipswich, February 15 plus the Marina, Lowestoft, February 14 and Southend’s Cliffs Pavilion March 7.
Tickets go on sale 10am, April 21.
Muddle Class is the follow-up to Jason’s successful 2013-2014 First World Problems tour, which saw him perform more than 200 sold-out shows.
He’s been busy, revisiting the world of musicals to great critical acclaim; firstly as Leo Bloom in the UK tour of Mel Brooks’ The Producers and then as Caractacus Potts in the UK tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
He also returned to the world of radio, hosting his three-hour live show on Absolute every Sunday morning; and from April 23 will host the new Sunday night primetime ITV game show Bigheads.
